The Hamilton expansion of Afiya Spine & Pain Institute was one of those rare builds where the goal wasn’t just to finish a space, it was to elevate an entire healthcare experience from the ground up.

After successfully delivering Afiya’s first flagship clinic in downtown Toronto, our team was trusted once again to bring their second location to life, this time on a much larger scale: a two-storey, 11,000 square foot medical facility designed to become one of Hamilton’s most refined multidisciplinary care destinations.

Rebuilding the Exterior Identity

This project began before a single patient stepped inside.

The building’s exterior façade was completely reimagined, not patched, not refreshed, but rebuilt. The entire exterior was redone using premium ACM panel systems, giving the clinic an unmistakable presence and a modern architectural identity that reflects the level of care delivered within.

From curb appeal to clean contemporary lines, the transformation established this site as a true healthcare landmark in Hamilton.

A Premium Interior Built for Flow, Comfort, and Compliance

Inside, the first floor was constructed as a complete pain clinic and pharmacy buildout, designed with an uncompromising focus on patient comfort, clinical efficiency, and seamless workflow.

Every element, from custom millwork and lighting to medical-grade finishes, was chosen intentionally to create a space that feels elevated, calming, and beautifully designed.

This was not a standard medical fit-out. This was a purpose-built environment where design and function align perfectly.

Design Execution That Matched the Vision Exactly

One of the most defining achievements of this project was the precision of execution.

Our team delivered a full interior design package, and the final built space mirrored the original design imagery so closely that the finished result appears nearly identical to the concept renders.

That level of accuracy requires craftsmanship, coordination, and an obsessive attention to detail, and it is a hallmark of the MedPros Construction standard.
